DAY 1

     AIRPORT / DAMBULLA (170 Kms)

 

    AM : Welcome and assistance by a representative of  Connaissance de Ceylan on arrival at the   Bandaranayake International Airport lobby. Transfer to Dambulla, upon arrival at the hotel welcome drink will be served and Check-in to hotel.

    PM : Afternoon at leisure by the p<ool. Evening, visit the  Dambulla Rock Caved Temple and return to hotel for  dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 02   

     DAMBULLA / ANURADHAPURA / DAMBULLA (196 Kms)

 

     AM : After breakfast, leave to Anuradhapura and visit ruins of the Old City. Anuradhapura was the first ancient capital of the country of kings for about 1400 years. In pinnacle of its glory the city extended over a surface of 52 sq. km and the population amounted to several tens of thousands. Its magnificent monuments, refined sculptures and paintings are testimony to a veritable and original Sri Lankan culture.

    PM : Return to hotel & relax. Dinner & Overnight at hotel

 

DAY 3  

      DAMBULLA / POLONNARUWA / SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA (170 Kms)

 

     AM  After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa, Visit old ruins and the

Gal Vihara Complex.

     PM  Afternoon visit to the Sigiriya and climb the Rock Fortress see

the frescoes painting in pocket of the rock.  Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 4

    DAMBULLA / MATALE / KANDY (80 Kms)

 

    AM  After breakfast leave for Kandy en-route visit a Batik Factory,and spice Garden at Matale. Arrive at hotel and check-in to hotel.

    PM   Afternoon visit the City of Kandy, Temple of Tooth Relic and Part of Old Palace behind the Temple. View a performance of Cultural Dance, Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 5

     KANDY / PERADENIYA / PINNAWELA / KANDY ( 96 Kms)

 

     AM  After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya, and proceed to Pinnawela.

    PM  Visit the Elephant Orphanage and see the Elephants go on their daily Routines. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 6  

     KANDY / NUWARA-ELIYA ( 80 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast leave for Nuwara-Eliya. En-route visit a Tea Factory and arrive at hotel and Check-in to hotel.

    PM : Afternoon, walk around the city and the golf course.Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 7   

     NUWARA-ELIYA / HORTON PLAINS / TISSAMAHARAMA (230 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast, leave for Horton Plains and visit the site. Located on a high windswept saddle at 2134 meters elevation, these plains are hard to reach. Many visitors come to see “World’s End” situated on the plains. The scenery that can be seen from here is considered to be the finest view in Sri Lanka.

    PM : Thereafter, leave for Tissamaharama. Arrive & check in to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.

 

DAY 8   

     TISSAMAHARAMA (50 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast, relax at the hotel.

     PM : Afternoon, visit Yala National Park by Safari Jeeps. Late evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

 

 

DAY 9

     TISSAMAHARAMA /  GALLE / HIKKADUWA (200 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast leave for Galle and visit the Old Dutch Fortress.

     PM : Proceed to Hikkaduwa via the southern coastal belt. Arrive &

check in for dinner and overnight stay.

 

 

DAY 10   

     HIKKADUWA/ AIRPORT (140 KM)

 

    AM : After breakfast departure transfer to Airport.
