DAY 01

    AIRPORT / DAMBULLA (170 Kms)

AM : Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Welcome and assistance, transfer to Dambulla. At leisure.

 

PM : Afterwards, visit the pre historic Dambulla cave  temple. This series of five rock caves by far, having the highest number of Buddhist statues and murals, is the most imposing   and impressive of the many cave temples to be found in Sri Lanka. Return to hotel for Dinner & Overnight stay.

 

 

DAY 02

     DAMBULLA / ANURADHAPURA/ DAMBULLA (196 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast, leave to Anuradhapura and visit ruins of the Old City. Anuradhapura was the first ancient capital of the country of kings for about 1400 years. In pinnacle of its glory the city extended over a surface of 52 sq. km and the population amounted to several tens of thousands. Its magnificent monuments, refined sculptures and paintings are testimony to a veritable and original Sri Lankan culture.

    PM : Return to hotel & relax. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 03

     DAMBULLA / POLONNARUWA / HABARANA / DAMBULLA (170 Kms)

     AM : After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa, Visit old ruins and the Gal Vihara complex.

     PM : Late afternoon, enjoy a 01 hour ride on an elephant to explore the surrounding jungles in Habarana, also with a glimpse of the village life and the native beauty in the area. Return to resort for Dinner & overnight stay.   

 

 

DAY 4   

     DAMBULLA / SIGIRIYA /   DAMBULLA (50 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast visit the Sigiriya, Climb the Rock Fortress and see the frescoes painted in the pocket of the rock.

     PM : Return to Hotel & relax.Dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 5

     DAMBULLA / MATALE / KANDY (80 KM)

 

    AM : After breakfast leave for Kandy en-route visit a Batik Factory and spice Garden at Matale. Arrive at hotel and check-in to resort.

    PM : Afternoon visit the City of Kandy, Temple of Tooth Relic and view a performance of Cultural Dance. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

 

 

DAY 6

    KANDY / NUWARA-ELIYA /KANDY (120 Kms)

 

    AM : After breakfast leave for Nuwara-Eliya. En-route visit a Tea Factory and plantations.

    PM : Return to Kandy stopping on the way to witness the beautiful Ramboda Falls. Dinner & Overnight stay at the resort.

 

DAY 7

     KANDY / PINNAWELA / KANDY ( 98 Kms)

 

     AM : After breakfast Visit the Elephant Orphanage and see the Elephants go on their daily Routines.

    PM : Return to hotel. Option of Ayurvedic treatments (direct payable). Dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 8

     KANDY / PERADENIYA / HIKKADUWA  (230 Kms)

 

     AM : After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya, and Transfer to beach hotel.

    PM : Arrive at Hikkaduwa & check in to hotel. At leisure on the beach. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 9 to 14   

     HIKKADUWA  

 

AM / PM  Full day on the beach or by the pool on Half     Board Basis.

 

 

DAY 15

     HIKKADUWA / AIRPORT (140 Kms)

 

AM : After BreakfastCheck out and transfer to Airport for departure.
